Your Privacy Choices
BuyerCount - Whoovia, Inc.
Updated: September 5, 2026

BuyerCount gives U.S. users a consistent set of privacy choices. Depending on where you live, some or all of these choices may also be rights provided by state law.

Choices available to you

You may ask us to:

  • Access / Know: confirm whether we process personal information about you and provide access to eligible information.
  • Correct: correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Delete: delete personal information associated with you, subject to lawful exceptions.
  • Download / Port: provide a portable copy of eligible information.
  • Opt out of sale or targeted advertising: opt out if BuyerCount engages in a practice defined by applicable law as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising.
  • Opt out of legally significant profiling: opt out if BuyerCount ever uses personal information for profiling in furtherance of a decision producing legal or similarly significant effects.
  • Know certain third-party recipients: where applicable, request information about specific third parties that received your personal information.
  • Withdraw consent: withdraw consent for an optional activity that depends on your consent.
  • Appeal: appeal a denial of an eligible privacy request.

At launch, Whoovia’s policy is not to sell personal information, and BuyerCount does not use personal information for targeted advertising or legally significant profiling.

Submit a request

Use the BuyerCount Privacy Request form in the account/help area or email [email protected].

The form should request only the information reasonably necessary to process the request:

  1. Name
  2. Email address
  3. State of residence
  4. Request type
  5. Optional explanation
  6. Whether the request is submitted by an authorized agent

We may verify your request using the email associated with your account or another reasonable method. Do not send Social Security numbers, driver’s-license images, bank statements, or other unnecessary sensitive documents unless we specifically explain why they are required for verification.

Response timing

We generally respond to verified requests within 45 days. Where applicable law allows more time, we may extend the response period and will tell you why. We may deny or limit a request when an exception applies or when we cannot reasonably verify the request.

If your request is denied and applicable law provides an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to our decision or selecting Appeal a Privacy Decision in the Privacy Request form.

Global Privacy Control

BuyerCount recognizes qualifying browser-based universal opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC), where required by applicable law. If GPC is enabled, BuyerCount should treat the signal as an opt-out of any sale, sharing, or targeted advertising activity covered by applicable law.

Because BuyerCount does not currently sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, a GPC signal may not change the core functionality you see today. We still recognize and record the preference as required.

Account deletion

If you delete your BuyerCount account or submit a verified deletion request, we aim to remove account-linked personal information from active production systems within 30 days. Ordinary rolling backups may retain deleted information for up to 90 days before it ages out. Limited records may be retained when necessary to document your request, maintain an unsubscribe/suppression choice, prevent fraud, preserve legal rights, or comply with law.

No discrimination

Whoovia will not deny BuyerCount services, charge you a different price, or otherwise unlawfully discriminate against you because you exercised an applicable privacy right.
