Cookie & Tracking Technologies Notice
Updated: September 5, 2026

BuyerCount uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember preferences, maintain security, and understand how people use our features.

1. Categories we use
Essential technologies

These are necessary to provide features such as authentication, session management, security, fraud prevention, privacy preferences, and basic site operation. They cannot be disabled, as they are required to provide the Service.

Analytics technologies

BuyerCount may use analytics technologies to understand traffic, feature usage, searches, interactions with BuyerCount results, demand controls, and technical performance. We use this information to improve the Service.

Analytics providers should be configured to process BuyerCount information on Whoovia’s behalf and not for their own independent advertising purposes.

Functional technologies

Some features may use local storage or similar technology to remember settings, support maps, preserve a session, or provide a feature you request.

Advertising / targeting technologies

BuyerCount does not use advertising or retargeting technologies for targeted advertising at launch. Before BuyerCount activates targeted advertising, Whoovia will update its notices, perform the required legal assessment, implement required opt-out/consent controls, and honor universal opt-out signals.

2. Cookie choices

BuyerCount does not sell personal information, does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and does not use it for targeted advertising at launch.

If BuyerCount ever engages in a practice that applicable law defines as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, you can opt out at any time through Your Privacy Choices or by enabling a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, which we honor as described in Section 3.

3. Global Privacy Control

Where required by applicable law, BuyerCount recognizes qualifying Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. GPC does not disable technologies that are reasonably necessary to provide the Service or that operate solely as service-provider/processor functions permitted by law.

4. Retention

Session-level analytics are generally retained for no more than 14 months before deletion, aggregation, or de-identification. Raw operational IP logs are generally retained for no more than 30 days unless needed for security. Cookie-consent and preference records are generally retained for 3 years after the preference is replaced or withdrawn.
